PENGENDALIAN HAMA PENGISAP BUAH LADA (Dasynus piperis China) DENGAN PESTISIDA NABATI

ABSTRAK

Pengendalian pengisap buah lada (Dasynus piperis) dapat dilakukan dengan pestisida nabati dari tanaman aromatik, misalnya sitronellal dan eugenol. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendapatkan informasi efektifitas sitronellal dan eugenol terhadap D. piperis. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sungkap, Bangka Tengah, bulan Maret–Oktober 2012. Penelitian dirancang dengan rancangan acak kelompok terdiri 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan: sitronellal konsentrasi 2,5 ml/l dan 5,0 ml/l; eugenol 2,5 ml/l dan 5,0 ml/l; insektisida sintetik (Organofosfat) 2,0 ml/l; dan kontrol. Penyemprotan dilakukan 5 kali interval 2 minggu. Parameter pengamatan meliputi populasi D. piperis, tingkat serangan buah (%), kehilangan hasil (%), dan hasil panen bersih (g/plot). Uji efektifitas dilakukan dengan mengurung 2 cabang bertandan pada 1 tanaman (arah timur dan barat) tiap plot. Setiap cabang diinfestasikan 10 ekor imago D. piperis kemudian diaplikasi sesuai perlakuan dan diamati mortalitasnya pada 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, dan 96 jam setelah aplikasi (JSA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan sitronellal konsentrasi 5, 0 ml/l menunjukkan efektif menurunkan populasi D. piperis di lapang ditunjukkan dengan nilai efikasi sebesar 86,98%, tingkat serangan D. piperis terendah (kurang dari 10%), rata-rata kehilangan hasil panen terendah (4,066%), hasil panen bersih tertinggi (1.510,938 g/plot), dan mortalitas kumulatif lebih dari 50% sejak 6 JSA.

ABSTRACT

Dasynus piperis controlling can be done by botanical pesticide from aromatic plant. The research purpose is to get sitronellal and eugenol effectiveness information against D. piperis. The experiment was conducted in Sungkap, Central Bangka, from March until October 2012. The research is designed with a randomized block design with 6 treatments and 4 replications i.e sitronellal concentration of 2.5 and 5.0 ml/l; eugenol 2.5 and 5.0 ml/l; Organofosfat 2.0 ml/l; and control. Spraying is done 5 times at 2 weeks intervals. Observation parameters are D. piperis populations, fruit attack (%), yield loss (%), and net yield (g/plot). Effectiveness test is done by confining two bunched branches at 1 plant (east and west). Each branch infested by 10 D. piperis imagos then applied treatment and observed mortality at 1, 3, 6, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours after application/HAA. Citronellal 5,0 ml/l showed effective to reduce D. piperis indicated by effication value 86,98%, the lowest rate attack (less than 10%) and average yield loss (4.066%), the highest nett yield (1510.938 g/plot), and cumulative mortality more than 50% since 6 HAA.
