UJI ADAPTASI KUMIS KUCING DAN OBSERVASI JATI BELANDA

ABSTRAK

Kumis kucing dan jati belanda banyak digunakan dalam industri obat tradisional di dalam negeri dan sudah diekspor ke berbagai negara. Namun pasokan bahan baku yang beredar di pasar belum terstandardisasi, baik kuantitas maupun kualitas. Untuk menghasilkan varietas unggul kumis kucing dan jati belanda dengan kandungan bahan aktif tinggi diperlukan material genetik bahan seleksi dengan ragam yang luas. Selain itu, kandungan metabolit sekunder pada beberapa tanaman, berkorelasi positif dengan ketinggian tempat, rata-rata temperatur tahunan, klon/varietas yang digunakan. Penelitian dilkakukan untuk memperoleh varietas unggul kumis kucing dan jati belanda berproduksi dan kandungan bahan aktif tinggi. Uji adaptasi kumis kucing dilakukan di tiga agroekologi menggunakan enam aksesi, sedangkan observasi jati belanda dilakukan di satu lokasi, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, klon kumis kucing berbunga putih dengan tangkai merah kecoklatan merupakan aksesi dengan percabangan banyak, berdaun lebar dan lebat. Klon berbunga putih dengan tangkai hijau, tipe percabangannya monopodial, pendek dan berdaun jarang serta kecil. Sedangkan klon berbunga ungu dengan tangkai merah kecoklatan terdapat dua tipe: (1) pertumbuhan tinggi, berdaun besar dan banyak seperti klon berbunya putih tangkai merah kecoklatan, dan (2) tipe pertumbuhan pendek, dengan daun lebih kecil dan jarang. Kandungan sinensetin keenam aksesi bervariasi mulai 0.004% sampai 0.1%, bergantung kepada aksesi dan lokasi penanaman. bobot terna basah tertinggi di Cimanggu (240 m dpl.) ditunjukkan oleh aksesi C (540,5 g/rumpun) sedangkan di Cicurug (550 m dpl) aksesi B (582,2 g/tanaman) dan di Sukamulya (350 m dpl) tertinggi pada aksesi B (640,2 g/tan.).  Kadar sinensetin tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh aksesi A (0,1%) yang ditanam di KP Cicurug, berikutnya aksesi B dan C (0,03%) yang ditanam di KP Cicurug dan aksesi  E (0,05%) serta D (0,03%) yang ditanam di KP. Sukamulya. Observasi jati belanda baru dilakukan pada taraf pengamatan morfologi. Untuk mengetahui stabilitas hasil dan mutu serta kandungan bahan aktif enam aksesi kumis kucing yang diuji, telah dilakukan penanaman tahun kedua di tiga lokasi yang sama.

ABSTRACT

Cat whiskers and Dutch identity is widely used in traditional medicine industry in the country and has been exported to many countries. But the supply of raw materials in the market has not been standardized, both quantity and quality. To produce superior varieties cat whiskers and Dutch identity with a high content of active ingredient required genetic material with a wide selection of materials is extensive. In addition, the content of secondary metabolites in several plants, positively correlated with altitude, average annual temperature, clones/varieties used. Dilkakukan research to obtain varieties cat whiskers and Dutch identity and the production of high active ingredients. Adaptation trials conducted in three cats whiskers agroecology using six accessions , while the Dutch identity observations made in one location, results showed, clone flowering white cat whiskers with a brownish red stems and the stems accession, broad-leaved and bushy. Clones flowering white with green stalk, type monopodial branches, short and infrequent and small leaves. Whereas clones with purple flowering stalk brownish red, there are two types: (1) high growth, large-leaved and many such clones berbunya brownish red white stalk, and (2) the type of short growth, with smaller leaves and sparse. The content of the six accessions ranged sinensetin 0.004 % to 0.1 %, depending on the accessions and planting location. highest weight of wet herb in Cimanggu (240 m asl) indicated by the accession C (540.5 g/clump), while in Cicurug (550 m asl) accession B (582.2 g/plant) and in Sukamulya (350 m asl) highest in accession B (640.2 g/plant). Sinensetin highest levels indicated by the accession of A (0.1 %) were planted in KP Cicurug, subsequent accession of B and C (0.03 %) were planted in KP Cicurug and accession E (0.05 %) and D (0.03 %) were grown in KP.
