ABSTRAK

Pengaruh interval aplikasi dan waktu penyemprotan pestisida nabati seraiwangi (Cymbopogon nardus) terhadap  hama pengisap buah Helopeltis antonii pada tanaman kakao, telah dilakukan di kebun PT. Inang Sari Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat. Percobaan disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan delapan perlakuan dan empat ulangan, perlakuan tersebut adalah: In1Pg (interval aplikasi 1 x 1 minggu pagi hari), In1Sr (interval aplikasi 1 x 1 minggu sore hari), In2Pg (interval aplikasi 1 x 2 minggu pagi hari), In2Sr (interval aplikasi 1 x 2 minggu sore hari), In3Pg. (interval aplikasi 1 x 3 minggu pagi hari), In3Sr (.interval aplikasi 1 x 3 minggu sore hari), insektisida deltametrin 1 x 3 minggu dan kontrol tanpa pestisida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan In1Pg dan In1Sr, memperlihatkan penurunan populasi nimfa H. antonii tertinggi dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lainnya. Nilai efikasinya adalah 95,57% (In1Pg), 96,46% (In1Sr), 85,84% (In2Pg), 86,73% (In2Sr), 69,03% (In3Pg) dan 71,68 (In3Sr), sedangkan dengan insektisida deltametrin, penurunan populasi 100% pada pengamatan enam minggu setelah aplikasi (MSA6). Perlakuan In1Pg dan In1Sr juga menunjukkan penurunan populasi imago H. antonii tertinggi 100%, kemudian diikuti perlakuan In2Sr 93,44%, In2Pg 91,80%, In3Sr 72,13% dan terendah pada perlakuan In3Pg (68,85%) pada delapan minggu setelah aplikasi (MSA8), sedangkan pada perlakuan deltametrin, penurunan populasi imago sudah 100% pada MSA6. Kerusakan buah terendah terdapat pada perlakuan deltametrin dan kerusakan buah tertinggi terdapat pada kontrol, intensitas kerusakan buah masing-masing pada ahkir pengamatan sebagai berikut; deltametrin (15,32%), In1Pg (18,36%), In1Sr (17,98%), In2Pg (21,43%), In2Sr (23,19%), In3Pg (28,92%), In3Sr (29,61%) dan kontrol (39,34%).

ABSTRACT

Effect of interval application and time spraying of botanical pesticide of citronellal (Cymbopogon nardus) to sucking insect pest of cocoa fruit Helopeltis antonii had been conducted at PT Inang Sari Agam regency of West Sumatera. Experiments were arranged in the form of randomized block design, with eight treatments and four replications. The experiment were: In1Pg (application interval 1 x 1 week in the morning), In1Sr (application interval 1 x 1 week in the afternoon), In2Pg. (interval 1 x 2 weeks application in the morning), In2Sr (application interval 1 x 2 weeks in the afternoon), In3Pg. (interval 1 x 3 weeks application in the morning), In3Sr (application interval 1 x 3 weeks in the afternoon), insecticide deltamethrin 1 x 3 weeks and a Control without pesticides. The results showed that the treatment In1Pg and In1Sr, showed highest suppression of population nymphs H. antonii and significantly different than an other treatments. The value of insecticide efficacy are 95.57% (In1Pg), 96.46% (In1Sr), 85.84% (In2Pg), 86.73% (In2Sr), 69.03% (In3Pg) and 71.68 (In3Sr), whereas the insecticide deltamethrin suppression of has reached 100% at six weeks after application (WAA6). In1Sr and In1Pg treatment and also showed highest suppression of imago population of H. antonii reached 100%, and then followed by In2Sr (93.44%), In2Pg (91.80%), In3Sr (72.13%) and the lowest was In3Pg treatment of 68.85% at eight weeks after application (WAA8). Lowest of fruit damage found on the deltamethrin treatment and fruit damage was highest in the control, the intensity of damage on the fruit at last observations; deltamethrin (15.32%), In1Pg (18.36%), In1Sr (17.98%) , In2Pg (21.43%), In2Sr (23.19%), In3Pg (28.92%), In3Sr (29.61%) and control (39.34%).
